STIME: contributing to a Java / Angular document platform
On eClasseur, my assignment combined design, Full Stack development and extensive work with Apache Camel. I also helped clarify requirements and build a shared understanding within the Scrum team.
01 · Context
A document management platform
eClasseur is a document storage, organisation and sharing platform at STIME, the IT organisation of Groupement Les Mousquetaires. My scope covered requirements analysis, architecture, development, testing, continuous integration and documentation.
02 · My technical contribution
Design, development and Apache Camel
Full Stack development
Work in a Java / Angular environment on APIs and persistence using Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA and PostgreSQL, alongside testing, continuous integration and documentation.

A substantial part of my contribution focused on Apache Camel. This extensive work was a distinctive part of my eClasseur experience alongside Java / Angular development.
03 · Scrum collaboration
Build a shared understanding before development
I actively participated in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews and retrospectives. I also contributed to refinement, estimation and breaking work into tasks, discussing both functional and technical aspects.

Work through tasks with the team to understand the requirement and clarify the work before estimating it.
Develop a shared understanding
Make discussions transparent and align the team’s understanding of both the expected behaviour and its technical implementation.
